The Section Chemistry-Information-Computer ( CIC ) of the German Chemical Society ( GDCh ) is represented for a short time in the social network LinkedIn a own group. The network service is LinkedIn especially the maintenance of professional contacts and many international and national and Computational Chemists chemoinformaticians already use this service to professional networking.

The Section CIC has already been used in the past, some features of LinkedIn. So the last two Section meetings and GCC2009 GCC2010 (6th German Conference on Chemoinformatics) were available in the event section of LinkedIn and advertised.
